(You may be asking what happened to mod packs 2, 3, and 4 after this one. It includes many other texture mods that you see here in the workshop like lasermax boxes, coke soda machines, jerrycans, and much more. This is the main mod pack that retextures most of the objects and trash in the game making it much more realistic. DO NOT put it in the warkshop folder, that is only for subscribed workshop mods Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons folder. My main contribution to the solo-L4D2 community is “ Solo No Bots“, a mod I released in 2015 that bypasses the auto-fail in the Sacrifice finale, letting Titsonabullsteam become the first player to beat the campaign solo. And when I’m not soloing myself, I like to watch the pros who have turned it into an art form. Not even with ally bots I like to fight the endless zombie hordes completely on my lonesome.
But as I’ve noted in a few earlier articles, my preferred way to play is completely solo. Hell, it even won the “ Better With Friends” award in the inaugural Steam Awards. Left 4 Dead 2 is undeniably a multiplayer-game, designed to emphasize teamwork and excel when you bring buddies who can watch your back.
